Alejandra Roel was raised in Texas and Southwest Detroit but she is a proud Mexicana. She is about to receive her Communication Studies degree from the University of Michigan with a minor in Latino Studies, so she bleeds maize and blue! During her free time, she loves to dance, volunteer around Detroit and explore the city’s art scene and night life.
