Mango-Peach Workout Recovery Smoothie

We know that what you eat prior to and immediately after working out is an often-overlooked, yet essential component of any efficient exercise program. The minutes and hours following an intense workout are critical to replenishing our glycogen energy stores, providing carbohydrates for the repair of our muscles, and re-hydrating our bodies.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. frozen mango
  • 2 oz. frozen peaches
  • 2 oz. plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 oz. vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 2 oz. coconut water
  • 2 oz. apple juice
  • 2 oz. coconut milk
  • 1 Tbsp. whey protein powder (optional)

Instructions
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high for about 40 seconds or until smooth and frothy.
