Cooking with Kids: Apple, Turkey and Cheese Pockets
Cooking with children is a great way to boost their self-esteem and encourage healthy eating habits. This easy recipe is great for young children ages four to six to make on their own.
This recipe is a great bite to eat that children can put together when they are hungry. Parents will have to pre-cut the apples and cheese for the kids to use. Apples are in season between July and October throughout Michigan, making them a great healthy snack for kids to eat in the summer.
