Homemade Coconut Matcha Energy Drink
This coconut matcha energy drink is the perfect afternoon boost. Matcha is made from crushed whole tea leaves. It is prepared as a powder and whisked into liquids, this method releases the caffeine into the body gradually over a 6-8 hour period. The result is sustained energy and increased focus without a caffeine crash later in the day.
This recipe has 136 mg of caffeine, while a typical cup of coffee has 95-180 mg of caffeine. Paired with coconut water, it’s a refreshing and hydrating beverage that is naturally low in calories.
