Phone app stores offer many relaxation and mindfulness applications we can use at our fingertips to help us unwind. What’s more convenient than being able to use technology to relax wherever you are?

Here are a few apps, available for both Apple and Android products, to try and use for a little relaxation:
  • Pause: This app features soothing colors and sounds that correlate as you slowly run your finger across the screen. The slow motion movement calms you to help you get your mindset into a calm and peaceful place.
  • The Mindfulness App: Did you know it takes 20 minutes of practice a day to start seeing effects of meditation? If you’re looking for an excuse to take time out of your day and relieve stress- this app is for you. Both beginners and those experienced in mediation will find this app easy to use.
  • Relax Melodies: Download this app for a little help getting to sleep. There are various sounds and melodies you can listen to and relax. There are even timers and alarms you can set.
  • Headspace: This app will help you take 10 minutes of your day to teach you the basics of meditation. This app is used to improve mindfulness techniques and have you train your mind for a happier and pleasant life.
  • Various adult coloring book apps: There are many different apps available for Apple and Android that hit on the adult coloring book phenomenon. These apps include various designs and colors to choose from. These types of apps help you feel stress-free and the best part is the choices are endless.
So whether you choose to watch a video or download an app, try them out and see what works for you. Everyone deserves a little more relaxation, and it’s even better when it’s available at the click of a button.
