Juicy grilled peaches paired with lightly sweetened ricotta create a dessert that feels elegant but comes together in minutes.
The warm peaches soften on the grill and develop a rich, jam-like flavor. Peaches are naturally high in vitamin C and antioxidants, while ricotta adds satisfying protein and calcium. This dessert delivers sweetness without relying on heavy frostings or syrups.

FAQ
1. How do I know when peaches are ripe enough for grilling? Choose peaches that yield slightly when gently squeezed but aren't overly soft. Very ripe peaches may become mushy on the grill, while underripe peaches may not develop as much sweetness.
2. What can I substitute for ricotta cheese? Mascarpone, cottage cheese, whipped cream cheese or Greek yogurt can all work as alternatives. Greek yogurt offers a lighter option with extra protein.
3. Can I make this recipe ahead of time? You can prepare the ricotta mixture several hours in advance and refrigerate it. For the best texture and flavor, grill the peaches just before serving and assemble the dessert while the fruit is still warm.
