#MIKidsCan Play like a Lion Challenge Week 3!

This week, the #MIKidsCan Play like a Lion Challenge is focused on getting kids outside and active for at least 60 minutes per day in an effort to help reverse the trend of childhood obesity.
It’s not too late for kids to join in and make the #MIKidsCan Play like a Lion Challenge for a chance to have fun and win some great prizes!
Now through Aug. 2, kids ages 6 to 12 (supervised by a parent or guardian), can sign up for the challenge by making the pledge at www.ahealthiermichigan.org/MIKidsCan.
Ten winners will be selected to receive a VIP experience for themselves and a friend at Ford Field when the Detroit Lions take on the New York Jets on Aug. 13.
Winners will go on the field for an exclusive pre-game workout session with Detroit Lions trainers and staff before the 7:30 p.m. game. The experience also includes a special autograph session with a Detroit Lions player, participation in the fan tunnel experience prior to the game, three tickets to the game and more.
By making the #MIKidsCan Play like a Lion pledge, kids agree to join our team and aim to complete a series of fun and healthy activities each week.

It’s important to be physically active to grow up healthy and strong. Take it from the pros – in addition to scheduled practices and games, Detroit Lions players do cardio workouts and weight training for at least 60 minutes per day. Remember, you can space out your play time throughout the day.
Parents, help your kids complete the #MIKidsCan Play like a Lion experience by creating a customized Detroit Lions Play 60 trading card at www.ahealthiermichigan.org/MIKidsCan. Now through Aug. 2, if you share photos of your children being healthy and active using #MIKidsCan and #Contest on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you’ll be entered to win autographed Matthew Stafford gear!
