2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. onion powder
1⁄2 tsp. sugar or honey
Optional - pinch red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon juice to taste
Optional – chopped or dried parsley for topping
Instructions

Step 1
In a pan over medium heat, add oil. Once warm, add chickpeas, spices and the sweet element. Sauté, stirring frequently, until chickpeas crisp up and are softened, about 7-10 minutes.

Step 2
Season with salt and pepper to taste, then squeeze lemon juice and top with parsley if desired.
