Metro Detroit Youth Day
What started as a way to bring the community together during a time of turmoil has grown into one of the most anticipated events of the summer.
Now in it’s 35th year, Metro Detroit Youth Day’s mission is to inspire children to do the most good at home, in school and in their communities.
It’s first year saw only 1,100 participants but today the annual tradition attracts more than 30,000 children who come to enjoy free sports clinics, games, contests, college presentations and more.
