About the Show
For the next few episodes, we’ll be bringing you conversations from the Mackinac Policy Conference. This year, the conference is focusing on the business community’s changing civic role in polarizing times. Throughout the conference, Michigan’s business community will focus discussions and learnings around areas they can lead in advancing diversity as a strength, utilizing civility and facts in public discourse, building a culture of empathy, and advocating for the fundamental tenets of American democracy. We thought it’d be a great opportunity to talk to attendees about what they’re doing to tackle these critical issues and how it’s impacting Michiganders. We hope you enjoy these special episodes.
On part 3 of this series, Chuck talks with President of the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan, Ric DeVore; President and CEO of the Community Foundation of St. Clair County, Randy Maiers; and Executive Director of Next Generation Learning for Ford Motor Company, Cheryl Carrier.
