Attention hikers, bikers, off roaders, horseback riders and boaters! Tomorrow is the official kickoff of Michigan Trails Week, a week-long campaign of events and volunteer opportunities celebrating Michigan’s extensive network of motorized, non-motorized and water trails. The week will end on National Public Lands Day, September 28th, with all participating local, state and federal parks in Michigan offering free admission.
This week-long initiative is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of MI Big Green Gym, a collaboration of participating state and local parks that provide endless opportunities to get active and spend time with family and community.
Michigan Trails Week events include:
  • The Great Sleepy Hollow Treasure Hunt
  • Nature Photography
