Fall is a Great Time to Train for a 5K

The weather is getting colder, but there is still time to enjoy the outdoors with exercise. I am working toward running in the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot and the Michigan fall weather is perfect for training.  There are many other Michigan races around the state that you can get involved in this fall.

There are also several running apps out there to help with training. I like to use MapMyRun which keeps track of workouts, routes and nutrition. Here is a list of other fitness apps that can also help.
