Detroit Pistons Mob Squad
Over the past few weeks, youth dance teams from across Michigan broke out their best moves for a chance to perform with the Detroit Pistons Mob Squad. Now it’s your turn to help us select our five finalists by watching the #MIKidsCanDance video entries and casting your vote.
From Detroit to Ishpeming and many cities in between, we received more than 35 entries featuring dance teams showing us their stuff on Instagram video using #MIKidsCanDance. Now through February 27, individuals can vote for their favorite dance video once per day by visiting www.ahealthiermichigan.org/MIKidsCan.
The top five vote-getting videos will be selected as semi-finalists, with a panel from BCBSM and the Mob Squad selecting the grand prize winner. The #MIKidsCanDance winning team will have the opportunity to perform with the Mob Squad presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan during the March 24, 2015 Detroit Pistons basketball pre-game show.
The grand prize winner will also receive a first-place trophy, a video of their routine performed at the Pistons game, tickets to the March 24 basketball game and participation in a one-day event offering Master Classes instructed by a carefully selected group of top choreographers in the dance industry.
Be sure to check back here in March to see who won as well as a first and second-runner up teams.
To watch the #MIKidsCanDance submissions and vote for your favorite, head over to www.ahealthiermichigan.org/MIKidsCan. Individuals can vote once per day through Friday, Feb. 27.
