Meet the Next #MIKidsCan Youth Skater of the Game

One lucky child has received a once-in-a-lifetime experience to skate with the Detroit Red Wings as the next #MIKidsCan Youth Skater of the Game.

Congratulations to 12-year-old Sarah Myziuk of Macomb, Michigan who will skate with the Detroit Red Wings as the #MIKidsCan Youth Skater of the Game on April 7, 2018.

“Sarah has always been conscious of eating healthy and exercising. She started skating at 6 years old. She was wanting to skate since she could talk. Her father and brother are avid hockey players and she would often want to mimic her big brother and Dad. Once she put on that first pair of skates she took to the ice and never looked back. Soon after putting on those first pair of skates she started playing hockey and has excelled playing both boys and girls hockey. She is always excited to get out on the ice. She knows that before she gets out on the ice or does any off ice workouts that it extremely important to put fuel into her body and she always makes great food choices. She takes care of herself so that she always can do her best for her hockey team.”
