  1. 2016 brings less PPO’s to choose from.. Many Insurance companies aren’t even offering PPO’s in 2016 We are being pushed into HMO’s with HIGH DEDUCTIBLES… my premium has gone up 67% since 2014…
    Here is my question..:

With a $6400 deductible (HSA PPO) I have to pay out of pocket before my insurance kicks in.. Lets say I go get blood work and it costs $400… Will the $400 go towards my deductible OR what the Insurance company ‘would allow’ if I were covered. Sounds complicated but I feel this is important.. I was reading the EOB from this year re: blood work.. The lab charged $400 plus BUT the Insurance company only paid them $72 ..
Will this happen when it comes to my higher deductible in 2016? Will the insurance company decide what part of what I paid in cash goes towards my annual deductible.. ??
