Free Blue Cross Community Couch-to-5k Classes

Join in the fun with this free, eight-week couch-to-5K program designed to help residents of all ages take their first step toward fitness. The program kicks off on Monday, Jan. 18 at 4:30 pm, and culminates with a goal 5-kilometer run or walk on March 12. The eight-week program includes two weekly one-hour sessions with certified Good Form Running and Walking coaches from the Playmakers Fitness Foundation. In addition, participants will receive a weekly e-newsletter with training and nutrition information. The program will be offered in 8 communities (Charlotte, Delhi Township, Delta Township, East Lansing, Dewitt, Lansing, St. Johns, and Williamston). Registrations ends January 16th.
