Quick Focaccia Bread Art

| 1 min read

This quick focaccia bread art recipe is so easy to make. I created it without yeast (because I can’t find any right now) and without proofing because that can take a long time.

The absolute best part (besides eating it) is being creative with the “artwork” on top of the bread. It is fun to do with the family.
Here are some yummy art ideas to use when decorating your bread. You can use almost anything, just be careful of the water content so that the bread still bakes completely.
  • Vegetables – bell peppers, mini peppers, spicy peppers, banana peppers cherry and grape tomatoes, leafy greens, carrots, zucchini, red onion and more. Cut them into a variety of fun shapes.
  • Herbs – rosemary, basil, thyme, parsley, chives, green onions and so much more.
  • Nuts and Seeds – pinenuts, pistachios, cashews, almonds, walnuts, pecans, pepitas, sunflower seeds, basically anything you have on hand.
  • Other – olives, capers, garlic, pepperoni (the mini ones too), sausage, shredded cheese, whatever you can think of as an addition.
