Lavender-Infused Recipes

  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 Tbsp. dried lavender

Lavender-Infused Honey

1. Pour honey into medium or large saucepan over medium heat.
2. Add in dried lavender and let honey come to a boil.
3. Boil for 5 minutes and then remove from heat.
4. Strain through a mesh sieve into a heat-proof container.
5. Allow honey to cool to room temperature uncovered for at least an hour.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • Zest of 1 large lemon
  • 1 Tbsp. dried lavender
  • ½ cup room temperature unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Mini Lavender Lemon Sugar Cookies

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Combine sugar, lemon zest and lavender in a small bowl. Rub all together between your fingers for 1 minute.
4. Combine sugar/lemon zest/lavender with butter in a large bowl with electric mixer.
5. Beat on high for 1 minute.
6. Add lemon juice, egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
7. Add baking soda and salt until well combined.
8. Add flour and beat until combined.
9. Roll dough into balls.
10. Roll balls in sugar and place on baking sheet 2 inches apart.
11. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
12. Let cool for 5 minutes.
