Breakfast Banana Boats
Fifty million Americans have some type of food allergy, and 15 percent develop in adulthood. A food allergy reaction occurs when your immune system identifies a food as a danger to the body and triggers a protective response.
This kid-friendly recipe avoids some of the most common ingredients that trigger food allergies. The recipe is nut-free and the yogurt can be switched out for a non-dairy yogurt if someone has a dairy allergy.

- Bananas
- Yogurt
- Blueberries
- Raspberries
- Blackberries
- Granola
- Coconut flakes
- Mint leaves, optional garnish
Breakfast Banana Boats
Instructions
1. Peel banana and cut lengthwise, without cutting all the way through.
2. Spread yogurt of choice inside banana.
3. Add toppings of choice. Enjoy!
