#MIKidsCan Pledge to Train Like an All-Star for the Chance to Win Big

Hey kids! Do you want to train like your favorite baseball All-Star for a chance to go on-field during the Detroit Tigers Kids’ Opening Day?

If so, now is your chance to lace up your cleats and “Train like an All-Star” for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan’s latest #MIKidsCan challenge, in alignment with the Detroit Tigers spring training.

Beginning today, kids across the state can pledge to “Train like an All-Star” for a chance to earn one of six spots on the Blue Cross All-Star Team at Tigers Kids’ Opening Day on Sunday, April 19.

The challenge calls on kids ages 5-14, to pledge to “round the bases” weekly, by completing four health activities during March. In addition to joining the Blue Cross All-Star team for on-field activities, each winner will also receive tickets to attend the game.

This week’s challenge is to Jump like a Star. Kids, we want to see you complete 25 jumping jacks per day. Activities like jumping make your bones stronger, and are especially important for children and adolescents. Click here to take the pledge and register to win.

Check back here next week for more details about the next challenge! Parents, remember you can share photos of your children completing the Train Like an All-Star Challenges on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using hashtag #MIKidsCan for a chance to win fun prizes each week during the month of March!

  1. Aaliyah is going through a rough time in her life right now, she has Alopecia, a disease in which the hair all over her body falls out in patches and this would really make her happy to go to a game with her mom and 2 brothers. Her mother is a single mom of 3 and cannot afford to take the kids to a game. I am her grandmother and can see the hurt she goes through on a daily basis with trying to wear headbands and hats to cover her head. This would be a wonderful thing to do for her.
    Thanks so much for listening.
