By lunchtime today, I had racked up almost 7,000 steps. A few of my co-workers were surprised that I’d almost hit our 10,000 step goal of the day, especially the one who walks to work everyday. I had almost double her total steps.
The typical guesses were leveled at me, did I walk my dog today? Did I attach my FitBit to my toddler? Did I walk to work?
Nope. I walk during phone calls. Unless I have to take notes, or I’m giving a presentation, I walk to stay engaged in the conversation. You would be amazed at the number of steps you can get in during a half-hour phone call.
