Located at 17151 Gravier St, in East English Village in Detroit, Messmer Park is a smaller park that would be a great spot to spend a relaxing afternoon if you have kids or a baseball/softball player in the family. The baseball field at the park has been recently renovated with new fencing, grass, dirt, benches, stands and signage and is a great place to fine tune your game with ground balls, pop flies, or just a game of catch. The park also has a playground area featuring swings, slides, and monkey bars. There is also a sheltered area with picnic tables for any outdoor gathering you are looking to host. There is also a wide open field area available for any sort of outdoor activity.
