The only thing better than going out to a great restaurant? Going during restaurant week and paying way less than you normally would. Ann Arbor’s just started and it’s the perfect opportunity to go out and try new places without having to spend too much—lunch items are $15 and three-course dinners are only $28.
Fifty-eight restaurants across the city are cutting prices through Friday. That’s not much time, so we narrowed down the choices for you and found eight that look especially mouth-watering.
Arbor Brewing Company
114 E. Washington Street
This craft-brewery is offering two-for-one deals on items like Pork Tacos al Pastore (pork tacos) and Chicken Chili Relleno. All of which are accompanied by a small house beer and Coconut Flan.
The Arena
203 E. Washington Street
The entire menu looks great at this sports bar. Try combining the Feisty Feta Dip with a Whitefish filet and Sweet Potato Fries for a healthy, flavor-packed meal.
The Blue Nile
221 E. Washington Street
The three-course dinner options at this Ethiopian spot include a Lentil Soup or Spiced Hummus to start, a traditional Ethiopian feast of Doro Wat and Doro Alecha (spicy and mild chicken), Zilzil Wat (spicy tender beef) with an array of veggies and a piece of Carrot Cake for dessert.
Carlyle Grill
3660 Jackson Road
We’re most excited about trying the Butternut Squash Ravioli. Or maybe the Maple Poached Salmon? But the Peruvian Bay Scallops look delicious, too! This relaxed and friendly restaurant might require multiple visits.
Jazzy Veggie
108 S. Main Street
This comfort-food-meets-vegan-style spot is offering a two-for-one menu with over 23 options to choose from. The Muffaletta Burger and Hummus Couscous Wrap are two of the more popular options.
Mani Osteria & Bar
341 E. Liberty Street
With a special antipasti and sandwich lunch combo, we have our sights set on trying the Autumn Squash Soup with the Arturo Hoagie packed with roasted pork, smoked provolone and garlic spinach. That said, anything at this family friendly restaurant is worth ordering.
Pacific Rim
114 W. Liberty Street
This dinner-only option features some amazing Pan-Asian dishes, such as the Lamb Satay Skewers, Coconut-Curry Soup and Japanese-Style Sablefish.
Prickly Pear Café
328 S. Main Street
Go ahead and try anything on the menu at Prickly Pear, a southwest-inspired place. Everything is available at the discounted price during Restaurant Week.
