It’s time to proclaim “I am worth it!”

“I AM worth it!”
It’s such a profound statement, I can’t say it without getting a little choked up.
I have not always believed those four words. Over half my life I truly felt as though other people were “worth it,” but not me. It took more than two decades to change my beliefs. Now I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that yes, I AM worth it! Realizing that allowed me to focus on me, my life and my good health.
When I finally understood that those words actually applied to me it felt good.
But proclaiming it for the first time was even better!
So when others make the same declaration, I can’t help but get a bit emotional. It’s often a life changing event, a turning point so to speak.
It is my personal goal to assist others towards arriving to this specific turning point. If they can proclaim “I AM worth it!” and begin to focus on their life and good health then I feel as though I have done so. When I received a letter addressed to me recently, it made me realize that yet another person has hit their personal turning point. I am sharing a portion of the letter with you. It is a great reminder that:
We all struggle.
We all have visions.
We all have goals.
We all have the ability to achieve those visions and goals.
We all have the strength within to proclaim, “I AM worth it!”
Someone wrote to me recently and said:
“I have started taking a nutrition class and during the 10 week class I have lost 17 lbs. and 15 3/4 inches. That’s the most I’ve lost in about 3 yrs. I have since joined for the second phase of the nutrition class. Maybe I will actually get to my goal! One of my visions was to ride a horse. At my previous weight I never wanted to hurt the horse, but now I think I can do it. Thanks so much for your encouragement. I can get to my goal because for the first time in my life I feel I AM worth it!”
I’m proclaiming to you today that “You ARE worth it!”
I want to hear you proclaim it too, so if you agree that you are worth it, let me know in the comments below!
