Are you or a loved one looking to enroll in Medicare Advantage? Time is running out to sign up and enrollment ends on Dec. 7.
Are you unsure of the difference between regular Medicare and Medicare Advantage?
  • Original Medicare is the federal health insurance program for seniors age 65 or older, the disabled and individuals with end stage renal disease.
  • Medicare Advantage plans are administered by private insurance companies that contract with the federal government. These plans cover everything covered by Original Medicare, and they usually include Part D prescription drug coverage and extra benefits not covered by Original Medicare.
We’ve got more information about Medicare Advantage and lots more information about health insurance — including the ability to ask questions and see answers — on Health Insurance Central.
