A Healthier Michigan and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan are looking for inspiration from kids in grades 4-8! We want to know what you would do to make Michigan healthier and we’re asking that you submit your ideas in a video here on our website for a chance to be our featured kids’ health and wellness vlogger (video blogger).
As an added bonus, the winner’s school will receive a school assembly with Matthew Stafford, quarterback for the NFL Detroit Lions!
Visit http://www.ahealthiermichigan.org/kidcontest to view the full contest rules and learn how you can submit your video. There’s also some great information for parents and teachers looking to teach kids about healthy lifestyle choices and fun ways to integrate health and wellness in the classroom.
Finalists will be announced here on April 11, 2012 and you’ll be able to vote for your favorite video to select the overall contest winner.
Parents and teachers can also stay connected to A Healthier Michigan on Facebook and Twitter to receive updates during the contest.
