Kudos to the Crain’s Intern of the Year

by Guest Blogger on June 11, 2010

Crain’s Detroit Business, working with the Detroit Regional Chamber’s InternInMichigan.com has recently announced the Intern of the Year.

(An intern who just happens to work at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan!)

His name is Yan Isayev, 21.

“With many interns, they’ll see an executive and keep their eyes down,” said Diane Cesarz, manager of information technology and Isayev’s supervisor. “Yan will introduce himself, ask for career advice and suggest a lunch meeting. He builds relationships like that, and certainly makes the most of his program.”

In addition to the valuable experience, Yan won a paid trip to the chamber’s 2010 Mackinac Policy Conference, June 2-5, courtesy of InternInMichigan.com, and was recognized in Crain’s and the The Detroiter, the chamber’s member publication.

Yan also received an Apple iPad, courtesy of Crain’s. (I’m jealous of that…)

Nice work, Yan.
Congratulations!
