Successful Small Businesses Are Economic Hope
This year’s small business celebration and the strength of the top-10 nominees furthers the idea that small businesses are leading the Traverse City area out of a tough economy. By adding jobs to the workforce, and remaining a healthy business through perseverance, experts are pointing to small businesses as the answer for economic renewal for our area and for Michigan as a whole.

Large corporations once beacons of hope for struggling economies are being outweighed by small businesses that are overcoming the challenges of a difficult economic climate, and are continuing to grow despite those challenges.
