No Child Left Inside Week

by Guest Blogger on June 7, 2010

Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm has proclaimed June 7-13 No Child Left Inside Week. This proclamation encourages parents and caregivers to help kids get back to nature, through a variety of outdoor activities. Not only will this proclamation help kids better appreciate nature, but will help them get healthy at the same time.

Now that schools are letting out for the summer, it’s time to find some ways to entertain kids. Rather than letting them spend their days inside playing video games, what are you doing to get your kids active outside?
